We approached 18 October this year with some trepidation! Having got cold and very wet last year and with this year proving challenging for growing, we wondered how we would manage. However, members came up trumps, providing us with a wealth of plants, including some fabulous bouquets of cut flowers.

Although the weather was fair, footfall seemed lower this year, though it was still a great opportunity to share plant chat with lots of local people. Reduced footfall or not, we did well, enabling us to donate a good amount once again to the Greenwich and Bexley Hospice, and a good time was had by all.

Thanks as ever to everyone who donated plants, sorted and priced, staffed the stalls, set up and took down.
