Following Dr Benz Kotzen’s wonderful talk last year, Anna arranged a trip on 5 June 2019, to see the roof gardens on Greenwich University’s School of Architecture and Construction building on Stockwell Street. Here is a picture of the meadow area on the roof.
In February 2017 we held our annual AGM and Bring and Buy Stall. Also, at this meeting, the show table cup was presented. Each month members bring in flowers to display on our Show Table. Points are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Our photograph shows Jane, this year’s winner. This is the 15th time her name appears on the cup!
Our long-serving chairman, Jillian Smith, retired this year, after serving as chairman for 18 years and as vice-chairman for 9 years.
