The October meeting at CABAHS featured tea. coffee and biscuits, a raffle, bulbs for sale, the Show Table and an enlightening talk from Ruth Cornett about ‘Flowers in Art’.

Members were also able to collect a bag of Narcissus ‘Pipit’ bulbs on the proviso that they grow them to enter the appropriate class in the Spring Show. In this year’s show there were 18 incredible entries – let’s have even more in 2026!

Only five entries for the Show Table this month (we’re blaming the inclement weather!) but a beautiful display nonetheless. Annie’s selection of flowers arranged above autumn leaves was chosen as the winner.
As ever, thanks to those running the signing-in table, the bulb sales, the refreshments, the sound facilities and the raffle (and congratulations to all the winners).
